Prior to that, she worked in beauty/fashion editorial for a national women's magazine, retail buying for a national retailer, and public relations promoting retail clients. Hyla graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Communication from the Annenberg School for Communication. She earned a certificate in creative nonfiction from Northwestern University and a certificate in Independent Educational Consulting from the University of California-Irvine. Hyla lives in Chicago with her husband and twin daughters. |
