Whether you can't wait to step foot on a college campus, wish you could run away whenever someone brings up the subject or are both excited and nervous, we'll help you through the application process. College List
Majors:
You might already be sure you want to study business, engineering or biology. You might love art, film, or history. For as long as you can remember, you've wanted to be a nurse, doctor, or scientist. Or maybe you have absolutely no idea.
We'll help you understand what each of these majors entails. So you know the difference between film studies and film production or that you understand that you can go to law school or medical school and still major in something outside of the politics or the science.
And we'll introduce you to really cool majors that you never knew about. And help you understand that you don't actually have to decide what you want to be.
Timelines:
Rolling admissions, early action, early decision, early decision 1 and 2, regular decision, restricted early action. What does it all mean? We'll explain what they each mean and help you come up with an effective strategy when you should apply to each school. that will put you in the best position.
ACT/SAT
Should you take the ACT or SAT? or apply test optional or submit scores to some schools and not others? Some students do better on the ACT and some on the SAT. For others, standardized tests are a stumbling block.
Resume/Portfolio/Video Interviews
Depending on the school and your major, you might have the option or be required to submit additional materials.

Maybe they are focused on studying nursing but you're not sure they really understand what that profession entails. Maybe they want to please you, ignore you, or do their own thing. Maybe they are talented writers or struggle to express themselves on paper. Whoever they are, and whatever their abilities or challenges, there is a college for them.
Applying to college is more than just compiling a list of schools, writing essays, and filling in applications. It's asking the hard questions. Soul searching. Trying to make decisions.
Maybe you didn't realize the complexity of the college application process. Maybe you knew it was complicated but thought you could figure it. Or, you are wexactly how overwhelming it can be and need support for both you and your child. Whatever the case may be, it's okay. Each student, parent/guardian is different.
